What is Smartphone Reload:
With WINDTRE's Smartphone Reload you have an innovative service to switch your Smartphone up to 2 times in a year for any reason, offered through the business partner bolttech device protection (Italy) S.r.l.
It is designed to guarantee the customer the peace of mind of being able to exchange their Smartphone for a new or refurbished model of grade A (i.e. semi-new or as good as new), at the discretion of the Smartphone Reload Service Providers offers delivery in 1 working day in major cities (Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin, Genoa, Bologna, Florence and Bari) or in 2 working days in the rest of Italy for requests confirmed before 5:00 pm on a working day. The service is valid for new customers who activate an Easy Pay offer and for existing WINDTRE customers.
Smarpthone Reload is also valid for VAT and Professional customers. Activation of the option will be confirmed by SMS.

How much does it cost?
The components of the offer (summarised in the diagram below and available at the point of sale) are: a monthly cost for a minimum contractual duration of 24 months from the activation of the service, varying according to the type of smartphone purchased, between €2.49 and €11.99 per month.
At the end of the 24 months, the service will be automatically renewed every month. A one-off amount (replacement fee) which must be paid only in case of switch.
Failing this, the Customer shall provide a method of payment (between SDD or credit card or cash) at the time of the proposal to subscribe to the Service.

This amount varies according to the type of smartphone purchased and the type of customer, according to the summary table below.

For customers who have purchased a new smartphone with WINDTRE instalment sales (including VAT):
  • for installments of € 2.49 per month, the replacement fee is € 60
  • for installments of € 3.99 per month, the replacement fee is € 95
  • for installments of € 5.99 per month, the replacement fee is € 170
  • for installments of € 9.99 per month, the replacement fee is € 330
For new customers who already have a smartphone or who buy a cash one in a WINDTRE store;
For existing customers with a smartphone purchased by paying in a single payment or in installments in a WINDTRE store;
For existing customers with a smartphone purchased from other retailers:
  • for installments of € 2.99 per month, the replacement fee is € 60
  • for installments of € 4.99 per month, the replacement fee is € 95
  • for installments of € 6.99 per month, the replacement fee is € 170
  • for installments of € 11.99 per month, the replacement fee is € 330
In all cases for Folding Smartphones* the switch fee is € 500

How does it work:
If you have activated Smartphone Reload and want to switch your Smartphone, you can do so by accessing www.windtre.it/reload, entering the required data and documents or by calling the 02 82 940 208 and requesting the replacement to the operator.
Before delivering your smartphone to the courier, you will have to back up the data and proceed to delete what is present in the smartphone to be replaced.
In the event that you have implemented a warranty intervention at the manufacturer in a period prior to the switch request, you will have to provide the partner with the documentation of the IMEI change.

PROMO RELOAD:
you have 1 month without constraints to decide whether to keep the Reload service.
Right of withdrawal within 30 days from the date of activation, provided that within this period the switch of the smartphone is not required. To deactivate it is necessary to send an SMS to the number 4033 with "RELOAD NO" if you are a Customer who has purchased a new smartphone with WINDTRE Instalments Sale or "REL NO" in other cases.
Smartphone Reload allows you to switch your Smartphone whatever happens, except in case of theft or loss, with an identical or similar one among those available within the same price range. For info on prices and models of Smartphones that can be sold with Smarthone Reload, go to a Windtre store.
It is possible to request 2 replacements in 12 months from the activation of the service. At the time of your request we will check how many times you have made a replacement in the last 12 months: if you have made less than two requests, you can still use the service.

The replacement phone will be delivered to you in 1 working day in the major cities (Rome, Milan, Naples, Turin, Genoa, Bologna, Florence and Bari) or 2 working days in the rest of Italy for requests confirmed before 17:00 of a working day. You will receive a personalized package with all the info to follow for data recovery.
The subscription of the Smartphone Reload service is binding for 24 months. The service will be suspended and may be deactivated if the customer is not in compliance with the payment of the costs related to the service or for other reasons indicated in the terms and conditions. The customer will be required to pay in any case all the monthly instalments of the service and in the event that he requests a switch the replacement costs.
All devices will receive a 24-month warranty at the time of the Switch covering any lack of conformity (it is not suitable for use according to the functional characteristics of production) as specified in the terms and conditions.
